2009 Primo Cup winner Benedetto Giallongo places his signature Value Team atop the leader board of the Audi Melges 20 Sailing Series after one day of racing.

With Giallongo at the helm and the insights of Francesco Scarselli and Chicco Fonda as crew, they won the only race of opening day for the 15-strong Audi Melges 20 fleet. It was anything but easy as they were challenged by many opponents from the start to the finish line.

Two weeks ago the Melges 32 took to the Audi Sailing Series 2009 Stage, now it is the turn of the Audi Melges 20.

The Audi Melges 20 now has an exceptional partner in the House of Ingolstadt and this weekend reveals the very first time on the Audi Sailing Series Circuit. An impressive fifteen teams have registered to compete in Lerici, with racing taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
